Euflexxa (3 x 2 ml)

Euflexxa is an injectable treatment designed to relieve knee pain caused by osteoarthritis, particularly in patients who have not responded to other therapies such as acetaminophen, exercise, or physical therapy. Clinical studies have shown that Euflexxa can provide pain relief for up to six months.

Euflexxa (1% sodium hyaluronate) is a substance similar to the natural fluid that surrounds the surfaces of joints. This fluid functions as a lubricant and shock absorber. When Euflexxa is injected into the knee, it helps replace the body’s natural hyaluronic acid that has been lost due to osteoarthritis, thereby reducing pain and improving joint function. The hyaluronic acid used in Euflexxa is non-animal derived and is purified through a multistep filtration process, making the treatment both safe and effective.

It is important that Euflexxa is administered on a proper schedule. The full therapeutic effect may take up to three injections to be achieved.
